Our Indian Mangoes are handpicked from the lowlands of Indahag, Cagayan de Oro. Because this variety is not grown for export, there are very few dedicated farms for this type of mango. Trees are planted just to serve for local consumption. To gather enough quantity, our fruit pickers visit each farm until a ton is harvested before being shipped here in Cebu. Filipinos love eating Indian mangoes unripe. Though it is also good to eat the fruit ripe, its sourness paired with either salt or "bagoong" makes it a perfect afternoon healthy snack.
